What we did

All Students (Honesty absent)
  • Used Alfred's Essentials of Music Theory Unit 1 Lesson 1 and 2 to establish a foundation for reading music notation.
  • Dacoda Purdy
    • Assembly of mouthpiece
    • Preparation of reed
    • Establishment of correct embouchure and initial sound on mouthpiece

What to do
  • Complete Unit 1 Lesson 2 and return on Friday during music class
  • Saxophone: Break in all reeds and establish good consistent sound on mouthpiece

  • Reading,Counting and performing whole note/rest rhythms on Concert Bb, C and D
